Website information

Privacy Policy

Effective date: 16 October 2026. This policy explains how the firm handles website enquiries and related personal information.

Scope and contact

This policy explains how The Justice Law Partners handles personal information supplied through this website, general enquiries and recruitment communications. Handling of information in an accepted legal engagement is also governed by the engagement terms, applicable law and professional duties. For a privacy request, write to info@thejusticelawpartners.com with “Privacy request — Managing Partner” in the subject line, or write to The Justice Law Partners, 40, Hanuman Lane, First Floor, New Delhi – 110001.

Information you provide

The enquiry form requests your name, email address, telephone number, company or organisation, practice area of interest and a brief message. Recruitment communications may include your CV, qualifications, experience and contact details. Please provide only information relevant to your enquiry or application. Do not send passwords, Aadhaar or other identity documents, bank details, medical records, information about children, or confidential case papers through an initial enquiry. If information about another person is necessary, ensure that you are authorised to share it. A secure method for documents should be agreed after the firm confirms that it can consider the engagement.

How information is used

Information will be used to understand and respond to the request you make, assess whether the firm can act, undertake necessary conflict checks, consider recruitment applications, maintain relevant correspondence, and protect and administer the website. Where an engagement is accepted, information may also be used to perform that engagement and meet legal and professional obligations. An enquiry does not subscribe you to marketing communications. A separate choice will be offered if an optional mailing list is introduced.

Your choice and consent

You may choose not to submit information through the website and may contact the firm by email or telephone instead. If essential contact details are withheld, the firm may be unable to respond. Consent sought through the enquiry form is limited to handling that enquiry as described here; it is not consent to unrelated marketing. You may withdraw consent or ask the firm to stop handling an enquiry by writing to the privacy contact above. Withdrawal applies prospectively and does not require removal of information that must lawfully be retained. The firm will explain any applicable limitation.

Who may receive information

Access will be limited to persons who need the information for the relevant enquiry, recruitment process, engagement or website administration. Hosting, email, form, security and backup service providers may process information as necessary to provide their services. The website is hosted through Zauca and uses WordPress and WPForms. Information may be disclosed where required by applicable law, a court order or a competent authority, or where necessary for an authorised engagement or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal rights. Professional confidentiality obligations remain relevant. Personal information will not be sold or provided to third parties for their independent marketing. This policy does not promise that all provider processing takes place within India; applicable transfer requirements will be observed.

Optional website analytics

With your permission, this website uses Google Analytics 4 to understand visits, page use and referral sources and to improve its information and navigation. Analytics may process cookie identifiers, pages visited, referral information and browser/device information. Google processes analytics information under its own service terms and privacy information, and processing may take place outside India.

Use “Accept analytics” to allow this optional tracking or “Decline analytics” to refuse it. Refusal does not prevent access to the website or its enquiry facilities. You can reopen “Analytics preferences” to change your choice. Withdrawal applies prospectively; data already processed is not automatically erased by changing the cookie choice. Your browser also provides cookie controls.

Automatic enhanced measurement is disabled. The analytics setup is not intended to collect enquiry text, names, email addresses, confidential case information or document contents. Analytics consent is separate from consent to handling an enquiry, and is not consent to advertising or unrelated marketing. Please do not place confidential information in website URLs or search fields. See how Google uses information from sites that use its services.

Technical information and cookies

Website hosting and security systems may process technical information such as IP addresses, browser information, request times and error or security events to operate and protect the site. WordPress uses cookies for functions such as authorised administrator sign-in. This policy does not treat continued browsing as blanket consent to optional tracking. Any optional analytics, advertising or embedded service that requires a choice must be identified and that choice provided before activation. You can also control cookies through your browser; disabling essential cookies may affect relevant functions.

Website enquiries, chat and external services

The enquiry form uses WPForms. Website notification emails are routed through Brevo using FluentSMTP; the notification can contain the enquiry information you submit. Please keep the initial message brief and avoid confidential case papers. The website includes Tawk.to/Appolo Assistant chat and a WhatsApp contact facility. Chat interactions and related technical information may be processed by the relevant service provider. Do not use chat for confidential documents or time-critical instructions. You may instead contact the office by telephone or email. Facebook and LinkedIn links take you to external platforms, which apply their own privacy notices. Following a WhatsApp link likewise opens an external service. Review the relevant provider notice before sharing information. This disclosure identifies the services used; it does not treat continued browsing as consent to unrelated marketing or optional tracking. The firm should review provider settings, storage and any applicable consent requirements before production launch.

Retention and security

Information will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the stated purpose, applicable legal or professional obligations, legitimate conflict records, or the establishment, exercise or defence of legal rights. Closed enquiries and unsuccessful recruitment records should be periodically reviewed for deletion or anonymisation. Backup copies should expire through the applicable backup cycle. A universal deletion period is not promised where different records have different obligations. The firm will maintain reasonable technical and organisational safeguards appropriate to the information it handles, including access controls and appropriate protection of backups. No website or email system can guarantee absolute security. Please report a suspected security incident to the privacy contact without attaching unnecessary sensitive material.

Requests, corrections and complaints

You may contact the firm to ask what information relevant to you is held, correct inaccurate information, request deletion, withdraw consent, or raise a privacy concern. The firm may seek proportionate information to verify your identity and authority, and will consider the request subject to applicable law, professional duties and the rights of others. Please do not send identity documents unless specifically requested through an appropriate channel. Requests and complaints should be addressed to the Managing Partner at the contact above. Where a statutory response period or escalation remedy applies, it will be observed. Nothing in this policy limits rights or remedies available under applicable law.

Children and external websites

The general enquiry and recruitment facilities are intended for adults. Where a legal matter concerns a child, an authorised adult should contact the firm first without sending unnecessary information about the child. Any subsequent handling must follow applicable law and the agreed engagement process. Links to court websites, legal resources and other external services are provided for convenience. Their privacy practices are governed by their own notices. Check those notices before providing information to them.

Applicable requirements and phased commencement

This policy is intended to support compliance with requirements applicable to the firm’s actual handling of information. The Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 have phased commencement: certain rules took effect on publication, Rule 4 takes effect one year after publication, and Rules 3, 5–16, 22 and 23 take effect eighteen months after publication. The policy does not represent that every provision is already in force. The firm should review this policy, its provider arrangements and enquiry procedures against the provisions in force at the approved launch date and each subsequent commencement phase. See the official notification of the Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025.

Updates

The policy will be reviewed when the website’s services, handling practices or applicable requirements change. A revised version will display its effective date. Material changes affecting an existing consent will be addressed as required by applicable law.
