Leadership & Team

Led by Binay Kumar

Binay Kumar

Managing Partner · Advocate-on-Record, Supreme Court of India

He leads the firm’s practice teams and remains responsible for strategic direction, advocacy standards and client accountability across accepted engagements.

How our teams work

Capability organised around the matter

Each practice team is led by Binay Kumar and supported by advocates and professionals selected according to the forum, subject matter and demands of the engagement. Individual team-member names are not published as a standing roster in order to respect client confidentiality, professional privacy, matter sensitivity and the need for flexible staffing. For every accepted engagement, the firm identifies the lawyers responsible directly to the client—providing clear accountability without unnecessarily exposing personnel or case associations.

Clear responsibility for an accepted matter

Practice teams are led by Binay Kumar. At the start of an accepted engagement, the scope of work and the lawyers responsible for the matter are identified directly to the client.

Assessment and strategy

The initial record, legal questions, procedural stage and relief sought inform the proposed scope and approach.

Preparation and representation

Drafting, filing and appearance arrangements should be clear in the engagement. Where additional or specialist counsel is proposed, their role and the associated arrangements are discussed with the client.

Communication

The responsible contact and document-sharing method are agreed so that deadlines, instructions and developments can be communicated clearly.

Advocate-on-Record

The Supreme Court Rules recognise an Advocate-on-Record as entitled to act as well as plead for a party before the Court. Read the official Rules.
